CoCA Archives Project

CoCA Archives Project was launched in 2013 as a way to preserve, catalog and share our impressive treasure trove of printed materials, slides, video and other materials gathered over the past four decades. To date, we have created an assessment of the collection and worked to preserve the materials.

In January 2016, we launched the humble beginnings of an on-line digital archive for public use as part of our 35th anniversary celebrations with eight collections that span our history and illustrate CoCA's influence on the contemporary art world. We recently received a 4Culture grant to expand the digital archive; look for more content to come in 2017. We also developed a Wikipedia page so that our far reaching community can participate in telling the story of CoCA and will continue to conduct oral histories to fill in the missing information.

We look forward to being able to share the over 200 major exhibitions and the work of almost 2,000 artists whom CoCA has presented in the past 35 years.

Please email us at archive@cocaseattle.org if you would like to get involved.
