Japan-O-Rama Fashion Show



On February 18th, the Catwalk Club will be transformed into Japan-O-Rama- the Fashion Show, an exciting combination of Japanese pop music, Video, fashion, food, and drink.Seattle designer Maria Carr leads a group of over 20 clothing designers and textile artists for this special take on Japanese fashion, from pop to traditional with a twist. The full collection will be unveiled at the Fashion Show. Items from the show will be on display at COCA.

Taste delicious foods from Uwajimaya while you watch tantalizing videos like Takada's Super Cat Girl and Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma 1/2. Drink imported beer or chilled sake while you watch 18 local designers present their interpretations of Japanese pop culture fashion, from the latest in clubwear to traditional with a twist. After the show, dance your heart out with fantastic sounds by DJ Dimitri.

Simply said, this event should not be missed.
