2013 CoCA Marathon

Posted by admin on August 22, 2013

You are cordially invited to attend the exciting CoCA 24-Hour Art Marathon & Auction, our gala celebration and fundraiser. Tickets are on sale now!

The Marathon launches 9am Thursday, November 14 with 24 hours of controlled chaos as 21 emerging and established artists paint, draw, wax, construct, collage, spray, write and sculpt their way to creating nearly 100 new works of art. You are all welcome to come watch the artists in action.

From 7-9pm, join the ongoing cacophony at the Artists Appreciation Party. Meet the artists, get a peek at the work in progress and enjoy light refreshments. Admission and parking are free.

The festivities continue on Friday, November 15 when doors open at 5:30pm for our infamous and always thrilling silent and live auctions with auctioneer Matt Smith, tasty beverages from 3 Howls Distillery and Elysian Brewing, a sumptuous seated dinner hosted by Apulent Events & Catering, and enthralling entertainment throughout.

Tickets are on sale now!

The auction will feature paintings, sculptures, assemblages, prints, glasswork and more by artists including Crystal Barbre, Seb Barnett, Lyle Carbajal, Chris Crites, Casey Curran, Jessica Dodge, Aaron Filion, David Francis, Paul Komada, Anne Marie Grgich, Ronald L. Hall, Jody Joldersma, Anna Macrae, Naoko Morisawa, Natalie Niblack and Siolo Thompson (final roster of artists announced soon).
