June's CoCA Star: Jennifer Cha

Posted by caroline on June 9, 2016

Jennifer graduated with her BA in Art History from the University of Washington in June 2015 and has been a CoCA intern ever since. Her love of contemporary art started during her time at UW and continued to grow while studying abroad in Copenhagen and through all of her other travels overseas; all of which led her to her internship with CoCA. This passion for art, paired with her organizational prowess have made her an asset to the CoCA team.

She’s enjoyed working on a variety of projects with the whole CoCA team; her most memorable being wrapping art at the Annual Marathon and Auction and working closely with local artists as the curatorial intern for the CoCA & Columbia Winery show. She’s loved working with so many CoCA artists and being able to collaborate on projects with people who are constantly teaching her new things about every aspect of the art world.

Jennifer plans on using her experience and everything she’s learned from CoCA towards her dream of becoming a curator of contemporary art. She’d like to thank all the members, artists, Board of Directors, and Nichole for teaching her so much during her time here and is excited to see what they do next!

Thank you Jennifer for all your hard work and dedication to contemporary art. CoCA is going to miss your tenacious spirit and organizational wizardry! We wish you all the best in your future career in the arts.
