bummerbunny is a seattle based project created by urban visionary artist laura castellanos designed to cultivate and expand upon relationships with participants engaging in the creative impulse ![]() " pencil ghost " 20 x 16 in. bummerbunny anthropomorphizes the mysterious intangibles of our collective being and shares a connotative iconography of images through the ideal of interconnectedness and integrated existence ![]() " the amateur " 24 x 18 in.
urban visionary artist laura castellanos was born in manhattan moved to miami in her teens and now lives and works in seattle her work has been exhibited in new york, miami, toronto & tokyo and is in a number of permanent collections including the tacoma art museum

she has been the subject of several articles, was featured in
paul dorpat's documentary "bumberchronicles" and her work has
been published and released internationally laura is also the recipient of a 2007 pollock-krasner grant
