Make America Create Again: CoCA 2017 Members' Show

Let the revolution begin with creativity and a joyous freedom of expression!
Huge thanks to the 277 artist members who participated in our recent call. We are so excited to share our members' art with the world. You can see the great work on our Online Member Directory and then join us in March and April for the real deal.

Our 2017 members' show, Make America Create Again, will feature 119 artists in the bursting-at-the-corners Pioneer Square gallery from March 2-4 and then again in April. The March exhibition opens to a celebration during the Pioneer Square Art Walk on March 2 from 6-9pm and on March 4 from 12-6pm to feature our members performing spoken word, music, choreography plus time-based performance among other ephemeral works.

March will be a short month due to a minor remodel in the gallery, but we will throw open the doors again in April to feature 2D and 3D artworks plus special performances on dates TBA. The exhibition is set to run from the opening reception on Thursday, April 6 (6-9pm) through Saturday, April 29. Members chosen to exhibit will be announced soon.

And, mark your calendars for the Annual Members' Meeting on Tuesday, April 4 from 7-9pm with a special presentation by this year's guest juror, Deborah Paine, as she talks about the selected artwork! Members also vote on new and renewing board members. Individuals interested in board service with CoCA should contact Nichole DeMent at nichole@cocaseattle.org. Special thanks to Elysian Brewing for providing beverages for this members only private event!
