2019 has been a great year for CoCA. This year we made the choice to show only female and femme-identified artists to make a statement about gender representation in public spaces. This allowed us to amplify voices that had previously been stifled. The community responded with a resounding “YES!” for our 38-year effort to support under-represented voices as we received the 2019 Mayor’s Arts Award.

It’s time for a celebration! On November 16 we’re throwing our first ever Friendsgiving. This is an exclusive event for CoCA’s fiercest supporters. It will be held on Saturday November 16, 6-8pm, at Steve Jensen’s studio in Capitol Hill.

What to Expect

Music and a very special burlesque performance by Tamara the Trapeze Lady, light hors d’oeuvres, and complimentary beverages provided by Elysian Brewing. A chance to win an artwork by Steven Jensen.

How to Attend

We have a limited number of tickets available for purchase at $150. An RSVP is required to attend, so hurry and add your name to the guest list by November 5!
